We are looking for two apprentices to join our friendly and professional team. Working towards the BHS British Horse Society exams with a career path tailored to you. Frith Manor EC (FMEC) is well-established ridding school and livery yard based in greater London. 10min walk from a tube station (Mill Hill East) with a variety of horses on site from established school masters to youngsters also clients’ horses of different shapes and sizes! The facilities include 3 schools 1 being an indoor for liberty work, all schools are flood lit for all year use and sprinklers for dry weather, good grazing and some hacking.

Our ideal Apprentice would be happy to talk to clients, enjoy working as part of a dedicated team and happy to meet the demands and responsibilities of looking after the horses in our care. Duties would consist of the daily routines of each horse and general yard duties under the supervision of the yard owner, Yard Manager and riding instructor.

Offering two riding lessons and two lectures weekly. For these roles the hours would be between 30 – 40 hours per week. Please note these positions provide accommodation and it is preferable that staff live on site.

Responsibilities would include:

*riding /exercising

* Grooming

* Tacking up

* Care of tack and equipment

* General yard duties eg the horses daily routines

Grassland management

* Yard management
